Ibn Mas`ood رضي الله عنه said:
❝There will be Hannaat (hardship, calamities, corruption) and
issues that are dubious. So you must be patient and refrain from hastiness. It
is better that you are a follower in good than a leader in evil.❞

In another narration it is… ❝It is better
that a man is a follower in good than a leader in misguidance.❞
[al-Ibaanah of Ibn Battah (177)]
