The Fitnah related with the two Eids:

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

From the past few years, it is becoming a common sight to see some people – especially those liberals who pretend to be more merciful – making posts and giving out suggestions about the two Eids and the `Ibaadah (worship) related with them. One might be deceived by them into believing that their view is better than what the Sunnah has to offer.

🚫 So every Eid al-Fitr we have the issue being raised of “giving Zakaat al-Fitr in cash” instead of staple food (rice, dates, wheat etc.) to the poor.

🚫 And every Eid al-Adhha we have the issue being raised of “animal cruelty” and “donate the money to the poor instead of sacrificing the animal on Eid”.

🌴🌴🌴

Before proceeding, one should remember a few things:

🌟 The Prophet was sent as a mercy for all the creation by the Most-Merciful (Allaah). [1]

🌟 He was the most knowledgeable of the Deen of Allaah and was sent to clarify the matters to the people. [2]

🌟 He was the most devout of Allaah’s creation. [3]

🌟 He was just and feared Allaah the most. [4]

🌟 If he was not just, compassionate, and kind, then there can be no one with these qualities. [5]

🌟 He always chose the easy options for his Ummah and never burden them. [6]

🌟 He was flexible with his Ummah whenever possible. [7]

🌟 He knew best what is the best for the Ummah. [8]

🌟 He did not leave anything that would lead to Jannah except that he informed us about it. [9]

🌟 He did not leave anything that would lead to Hellfire except that he warned us about it. [10]

🌟 Not only did Allaah تعالى completed His religion, but He تعالى also perfected it. [Surah al-Maaidah (5): 3]

🚩 So no one will deviate from his teachings except that he will be ruined. [11]

🚩 And whoever does something, which is not in accordance with the established Sunnah, then that action will be rejected. [12]

🌴🌴🌴

When we accept the above matters without a doubt, and when we have clear Text about a certain ruling, then as Muslims, we have no choice but to surrender to it, as Allaah تعالى said (interpretation of the meaning):

{It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error.} [Surah al-Ahzaab (33): 36]

…and that we leave aside all personal opinions:
Narrated `Alee ibn Abu Taalib: If the religion were based on (personal) opinion, it would be more essential to wipe the under part of the shoe than the upper, but I have seen the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم wiping over the upper part of his shoes (while making Wudhoo). [Sunan Abu Dawood (162, 164) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

🌴🌴🌴

💢 Zakaat al-Fitr:

🔘 Regarding “giving Zakaat al-Fitr in cash”, one has to understand that cash in the form of Dirham and Deenaar were in use during the lifetime of the Prophet , yet he instructed that Zakaat al-Fitr be paid in the form of staple food (dates, raisins, barley, rice etc.).

🔘 So it is not permissible to give its worth (in cash) according to the opinion of many scholars because of its opposition to the direct statement of the Prophet and his companions رضي الله عنهم.

🔘 AFTER GIVING ZAKAAT AL-FITR IN THE FORM OF STAPLE FOOD, if a person still wants to do more for the poor, he can give cash as optional charity, but not as Zakaat al-Fitr.

🌴🌴🌴

💢 Eid al-Adhha:

“Cruelty to animals”
🔘 Saying that slaughtering animals in such a large number is cruel is, in fact, accusing Allaah and His Messenger of being cruel and barbarous. In the midst of these liberals, the Kuffaar, the Islamophobes, and the vegans take advantage of mocking the Deen.

🔘 Apart from following the Sunnah, if the cattle population is left unchecked, their large numbers will cause a nuisance to the human lives and traffic. The streets of India are one big example.

🔘 Do not try to impose your rules over us only because you are a vegan and don’t eat meat. Animals have certain nutrients and proteins which are not naturally found in vegetables and plants, and since these vegans do not eat meat, they have to consume synthetically manufactured vitamin and mineral pills to compensate for the loss. Furthermore, animal fat is healthier than the fats derived from plants like corn oil, palm oil etc.

🔘 Moreover, plants/trees/shrubs/bushes/grass are also living organisms. It is double standards to advocate for one set of living things (the animals) but not for the other (the vegetation). Life is life, whether it shows pain or not at the time of cutting it down.

“To donate its value in cash to the poor”
🔘 Even though two months would pass by and the only meal of the Prophet and his wives would be dates and water, yet during Eid al-Adhha, he would slaughter a sheep or camel.

🔘 There were poor in al-Madeenah, yet during Hajj, he slaughtered one-hundred camels in Makkah (sixty-three with his own hands and the remaining by `Alee). So first benefit the people who are around you before thinking about the distant ones. (Also the Prophet had instructed Mu`aadh to inform the people of Yemen: and tell them that Allaah has enjoined on them Zakaah of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich amongst them and given to the poor amongst them. [Saheehain]

🔘 When you slaughter an animal, the whole economy comes into motion. Farmers, shepherds, and cattlemen generate money by selling their livestock; the transporters of this livestock generate money; the butchers earn money for their services; the poor benefit by receiving some of the meat and animal skin; leather factories generate business.

🔘 One will be rewarded for the meat he distributes:
`Aaishah رضي الله عنها reported: the Messenger of Allaah had slaughtered a sheep (and distributed major portions of its meat). Then he asked: Is there anything left? She replied: “Nothing, except the shoulder.” Thereupon he said: All of it is left except its shoulder. [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2470) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

Meaning: Whatever you have distributed will remain with Allaah as a reward, and what remained with you will perish (or will be consumed). As Allaah تعالى said (interpretation of the meaning): {Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever with Allaah (of good deeds) will remain} [Surah al-Nahl (16): 96]

🔘 And again, after slaughtering the animal if a person still wants to do more for the poor, he can give cash as optional charity.

🌴🌴🌴

So the message to the liberals is: keep your fake “holiness”, “knowledge”, “devoutness”, “champions for humanity” and “animal rights” to yourselves. You have not truly submitted to the Will of Allaah. As for us, the Sunnah is sufficient for us. Allaah تعالى - through His Messenger - has enjoined a certain type of `Ibaadah, and a certain type of charity at a certain time, so do not try to change the religion of Allaah.

In the Qur’aan we are warned that the people of the Book will never be pleased with us till they convert us to their religion – (and even after that some of them are not pleased because of racism). Now the Muslims face the danger / Fitnah from within. The liberals want to do the job for the people of the Book and Islamophobes.

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيل
Allaah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).

📑 Notes:

[1] Allaah تعالى says:
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
{And We have sent you not (O Muhammad) but as a mercy for the `Aalameen (mankind, Jinn and all that exists).} [Surah al-Anbiyaa (21): 107]

{And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad) the reminder and the advice (the Qur’aan), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.} [Surah al-Nahl (16): 44, 64]

[3] Mugheerah Ibn Shu`bah رضي الله عنه reported that Allaah’s Messenger worshiped Allaah so much that his feet were swollen. It was said to him: “Why do you undergo so much hardship despite the fact that Allaah has pardoned for you your earlier and later sins?” Thereupon he said: May I not (prove myself) to be a grateful servant (of Allaah)? [Saheehain. Also, a similar Hadeeth has been reported from `Aaishah]

[4] Narrated Anas bin Maalik: A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet asking how the Prophet worshiped (Allaah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said: “Where are we from the Prophet as his past and future sins have been forgiven.” Then one of them said: “I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever.” The other said: “I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast.” The third said: “I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever.” Allaah’s Messenger came to them and said: Are you the same people who said such-and-such? By Allaah, I am more submissive to Allaah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my Sunnah (tradition) in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers). [Saheehain]

[5] While Allaah’s Messenger who was distributing (i.e. some property as charity), there came Dhul-Khuwaisirah, a man from the tribe of Banee Tameem and said: “O Allaah's Messenger ! Do Justice.” The Prophet said: Woe to you! Who could do justice if I did not? I would be a desperate loser if I did not do justice. [Saheehain]

In another narration, it is mentioned: While Allaah’s Messenger who was distributing charity among some people, a man stood and said: “We had a better claim to this (wealth) than these (people).” This (remark) reached the Messenger of Allaah upon which he said: Will you not trust me, whereas I am a trustee of Him Who is in the heaven (i.e. Allaah)? The news (revelation) come to me from the heaven morning and evening. Then there stood up a person with deep sunken eyes, prominent cheek bones, and elevated forehead, thick beard, shaven head, tucked up loincloth, and he said: “Messenger of Allaah, fear Allah!” He said: Woe to you. Do I not deserve most to fear Allaah amongst the people of the earth? [Saheeh Muslim]

The other wording is: The Prophet said: Who would obey Allaah if I disobeyed Him? (Is it fair that) Allaah has trusted all the people of the earth to me while you do not trust me? [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree]

[6] Narrated `Aaishah رضي الله عنها: Whenever Allaah’s Messenger was given the choice of one of two matters he would choose the easier of the two as long as it was not sinful to do so, but if it was sinful, he would not approach it. [Saheehain]

[7] During Hajj, a man asked: “O Messenger of Allaah! I was not alert and I shaved my head before slaughtering my animal?” The Prophet said: There is no harm, go and slaughter your animal.Another man asked: “l slaughtered the animal before I threw the pebbles? Prophet said: There is no harm, go and throw your pebbles. The narrator said: “Whoever asked the Prophet about anything done before or after the other he told him: No harm done. Go and do (whatever you missed). [Saheehain]

[8] On the night of al-Israa, the Prophet was presented with two cups, one containing wine and the other milk. He looked at them and took the milk. Jibreel عليه السلام said: Al-hamdulillaah (praise be to Allaah) Who guided you to the Fitra (i.e. Islaam); had you taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray. [Saheehain]

[9] Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه said: The Prophet left us (in such a state) that there was not a bird flapping its wings in the air except that he would teach us about it. He (Abu Dharr) said: the Prophet said: There is nothing left which would take you closer to the Jannah and distance you from the Fire, except that it has been made clear to you. [al-Tabaraanee in Mu`jam al-Kabeer  (1647) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (1803)]

[10] Ibid.

[11] The Prophet said: I am leaving you upon a bright (path)whose night is like its day. No one will deviate from it after I am gone but one who is doomed. Whoever among you lives will see great conflict. I urge you to adhere to what you know of my Sunnah and the path of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, and cling stubbornly to it. And you must obey, even if (your leader is) an Abyssinian slave. For the true believer is like a camel with a ring in its nose; wherever it is driven, it complies. [Sunan Ibn Maajah (43) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

[12] The Prophet said: He who does something which we have not commanded, then it will be rejected. [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree and Saheeh Muslim]

In another narration: If any one introduces into this affair of ours anything which does not belong to it, it will be rejected. [Saheeh Muslim]
