How can a person know his worth with Allaah?!

 بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد 

👉 Always remember, the tongue is the reflection of the heart, while the actions are the reflection of the person’s character.

🔥 As for the tongue being the reflection of the heart, Allaah تعالى said about the Jews and the Mushriks:

قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ

{Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse.}
📚 [Surah aal-`Imraan (3):118]

🔥 As for the actions being the reflection of a person’s character, the Prophet ﷺ said:
❝If you have no shame then do what you like.❞

Reforming our homes

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

All praise is for Allaah alone, the One who is a Guide to the Right Path. He guides from His slaves – those who repent – to the Straight Path, and He brings them out of darkness into light. And He sends astray those who turn away (from His obedience) and follow their desires.

وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّـهُ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

{And Allaah wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves}

[Surah al-Nahl (16): 33]

Takhbeeb: A punishable offense which goes unnoticed

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Except for Islaam, there is no other religion, society, or country that makes Takhbeeb an offense punishable by law. Since it is not mentioned in the Western world, many people, including many Muslims, are unaware of this word, “Takhbeeb” and the ruling concerning it. Islaam outlawed this crime 1400 years ago, and it took many precautions in this regard, it made it obligatory for both men and women to lower their gaze, it prohibited free-mixing between men and women, and it prohibited seclusion between a man and a woman who are not related, it prohibited improper clothing, it defined the dress codes for men and women, Hijaab, etc.

Some things corrupt a person’s marital life while he is unaware. It works like a hidden poison. This poison (a crime) is known as Takhbeeb: the act of corrupting or instigating the wife against her husband or the husband against his wife; and it is punishable by law.

Takhbeeb: Corrupting or Instigating the Wife against her Husband

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Ministry of Justice: 62 cases of Takhbeeb (instigating or corrupting a wife against her husband) have been registered in the court so far in the past 8 months.

The Ministry of Justice had informed Al-Madinah (newspaper) on 07/June/2016 that in the past eight months, the court has dealt with 62 cases of Takhbeeb – corrupting the wife against her husband or the husband against his wife – so far. The highest of which were registered in al-Riyaadh which saw 22 cases, and the courts in Makkah Province (including Jeddah) saw 17 cases of Takhbeeb being registered in this period.

`Umar Ibn al-Khattaab: A caring father

🌟 He is always remembered for his anger and stern stance against his enemies.

🌟 He is always remembered for his strong faith that even Shayaateen would change their routes when `Umar used to pass by.

🚫 He is also wrongly accused of burying alive his infant daughter. [This is a false report and it has already been clarified in the book: “Saheeh al-Seerah]

Hadeeth: Illustrative example of Life between Hope and Death

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

`Alee Ibn Abee Taalib رضي الله عنه said:

❝Verily, this worldly life is departing and the Hereafter is approaching and each of them has its children. So be the children of the Hereafter, and don’t be the children of this world. For indeed today there are (opportunities to do) deeds and there is no reckoning, but tomorrow there will be reckoning and no deeds.❞ 

The 3 afflictions which daily affect every human being

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Every day and every night, the children of Aadam are affected by the 3 afflictions. Not a day goes by except that they are afflicted by all the 3 of them.

THE FIRST AFFLICTION:

His lifespan is reduced everyday. He does not care much about his lifespan being reduced, but if there is any reduction in his wealth, he starts worrying. What he forgets is that wealth is recoverable but not the lifespan.

THE SECOND AFFLICTION:

Every day he consumes the sustenance provided to him by Allaah. If it is Halaal, he will be questioned about it [Surah al-Takaathur (102): 8]. But if it is through Haraam means, then he will be punished for it; and no one knows the extent of the punishment except Allaah.

THE THIRD AFFLICTION:

Every day he is nearing the Aakhirah by some distance; while at the same time he is being distanced from this worldly life by some distance. But his concern for the EVERLASTING HEREAFTER is nothing as compared to his concern for this FLEETING WORLD. He does not know if his abode will be the highest station in Paradise or the lowest depths of Hell.

اللهم لا تجعل الدنيا أكبر همنا، ولا مبلغ علمنا ، ولا إلى النار مصيرنا ، واجعل الجنة هي دارنا

O Allaah! Do not make this world our greatest concern, nor the limit of our knowledge. And do not set our path leading towards Hell. And make Paradise our final abode.

Shaikh al-Fawzaan: Natural Phenomenon or the Will of Allaah?!

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

In response to the question regarding the reasons for the earthquakes and if nature has any role in it, Shaikh Saaleh al-Fawzaan غفر الله له said:

❝There is no such thing as natural phenomenon ^[1], for these are from the statements of the atheists. Everything which happens is by Allaah’s Qadhaa and Qadar (Divine Will and Decree) and everything which takes place is by the Wisdom of Allaah جل وعلا. As for the earthquakes, Allaah تعالى decrees them so that He عز وجل can frighten His slaves ^[2] and to remind them to turn to their Lord in repentance. Indeed it is Allaah تعالى who {grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places} ^[3]. Allaah تعالى has grasped the heavens and the earth, and when He تعالى Wills, He shakes them to awakened His slaves and to warn them.❞

Welfare of the children: the concern of every parent

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

The welfare of the children depends upon the righteousness of the parents. The more the parents are obedient to Allaah تعالى, the more they secure His protection for their children.

Allaah تعالى says:

﴿فَانطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَتَيَا أَهْلَ قَرْيَةٍ اسْتَطْعَمَا أَهْلَهَا فَأَبَوْا أَن يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارًا يُرِيدُ أَن يَنقَضَّ فَأَقَامَهُ﴾

{Then they both (Moosaa and Khidr) proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found therein a wall about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it up straight…} [Surah al-Kahf (18): 77]

Disobedience: a cause for the destruction of the Ummah

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Saaleh al-`Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

“Do you see any destruction more severe than the destruction of the Ummah nowadays? They are Billion in numbers, they are nearly one-fourth of the world population, but they have no value in the global community in spite of having moral force, material power and manpower. But when they neglected the Deen of Allaah, Allaah عز وجل forsook them, so that a person trusts* the oppressors among the Kuffar more than he trusts* his own brothers among the Muslims – and this is an ordeal and a calamity.”

Where are your manners?

‎ بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

Where are your manners O brothers and sisters when you discuss or debate with your own brothers and sisters? Subhaan-Allaah! It is amazing to see that even on the subject of Islaam when people differ, some of them start using indecent language and trying to abase each other, going totally out of character – all the while talking in the name of Islaam.

Even when talking about the innovators and deviants we have to maintain our character and not to exceed the limits.

Allaah تعالى says:

{وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ}

{And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses)} [Surah al-`Ankaboot (29): 46]

If the people of the Book deserve our good manners, then our Muslim and sisters brothers deserve the most. 

Did not the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم say: “No doubt! Your blood, your properties, and your honor are sacred to one another”? [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (67)]

But the rights of Allaah are more important to be defended than the rights of the creation!

The comfort of this dunyaa should only make us more humble

‎ بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

Compare your `Ibaadah when you are in comfort and at the times of distress. Verily the difference is really great. The eagerness to worship Allaah sincerely is more in the times of distress than in the times of comfort. The tears flow readily in distress than in comfort.

When the Dunyaa and its comfort over powers man, he tends to lose the grip on his faith and starts forgetting the purpose of his creation (even if it is for a short period):

Removing the Doubts: The concept of “Haraam Maut” (Unlawful Death)

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

Growing-up I used to hear that whenever a person died in an accident, some people would term it as “Haraam maut”, literally meaning that the person – who met a sudden end due to an accident - died at a time when he was not supposed to have died.

Hadeeth: The Prophetic method of uniting the people.

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Unite in your rows, Allaah will unite your hearts. If you want to clear the differences between you and your brother (in Islaam), pray standing closer to him - shoulder to shoulder, ankle to ankle - and Allaah will remove the differences. When people stopped praying closer to each other, they allowed the Shaitaan to creep in between their hearts. It is like even in congregation, we pray individually.

Straightening the Rows

Chapter No. 94 from Sunan Abu Dawood.

661. عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ»، قُلْنَا وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟، قَالَ: «يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ»

If this is Solar flare - then what about the Sun itself?

Every once in a while we read this news that: “solar flare is heading toward Earth and could disrupt power grids, satellite navigating systems and airplane flights. The blast sent billions of tons of superhot gas into space etc. etc.” and how the earth’s magnetic fields will protect the earth etc. etc. But who is going to protect us when the sun will be directly above our head.

Al-Miqdaad رضي الله عنه said that he heard the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم saying:

“On the Day of Judgment, the sun will draw near the servants until it is a mile or two away from them. Then the sun will burn them, and they will be submersed in sweat based upon the amount of their deeds. From among them there will be those whose sweat will come up to their two heels. From among them there will be those whose sweat will come up to their two knees. From among them there will be those whose sweat will come up to their groins (waists). From among them there will be those who will be bridled in sweat (up to their necks) and, while saying this, Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم pointed his hand towards his mouth.”

[Saheeh Muslim (5112), Tirmidhee (2421)]

Two criteria to judge the soundness of the person's religion:

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

a. By Their Outward Actions:

Narrated Anas bin Maalik: Allaah's Apostle صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allaah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qiblah and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allaah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Maalik, “O Abu Hamza (kunya of Anas)! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allaah', faces our Qiblah during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.” [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree]

Time And Tide Waits For No Man.

Allaah تعالى says: 

{It will be, on the Day they see it (the Last Hour), as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.} [Surah al-Nazi`aat (79): 46]

Time is a great teacher and mentor of man. In the bosom of time are contained tremendous accounts of nations’ rise and fall, which can be of great significance and value for people living now on earth. This planet has seen hundreds of nations in the past, rising slowly towards eminence, consolidating their power for some time and then degenerating and falling into oblivion. How many nations took shape, reached their climax and then vanished without a trace! Thousands built big empires by means of massive military campaigns and conquests. But at last, all drowned in the ocean of time.

Dozens of civilizations saw the light of day and, after touching the summit of success and fame, decayed and were annihilated. Billions and Billions of human beings were born into this world and after having passed through the stages of adolescence, youth, and old age, returned to dust.
