Karma Or Qadr?

As a Muslim, don't say: Karma

But say:

Qadr of Allaah, and He does what He intends.

PART 1:

It is not Karma, rather, it is the Qadr of Allaah that we Muslims believe in. Why would the Muslims be so interested in using the terminology which originated from Hinduism/Buddhism?

An Important Clarification To The Present Conflict

There are a few misconceptions that need to be clarified about this conflict between the Palestinians and the Zio∙nists:

1. The Reason For The Conflict

2. The Treachery Of Hamas

3. The Treachery Of The Jews (Zio∙Nists)

   A) The Prophet Killers

   B) Jewish Propaganda

   C) The Jews: The Originators Of The Art Of Deception

4. The Zio∙Nist Sympathizers Among The Muslims (See The Screenshots)

   A) Ibn Taymiyyah: “They Are The Mules Of The Jews”

   B) Nullifier Of Islaam: Supporting The Kuffaar Against The Muslims

   C) Hypocrites And Masjid Al-Dhiraar

5. Permissibility Of Making Truce With The Jews

6. What Should We Do As Muslims

   A) Reflect On Our Own Situation

   B) Supplicate To Allaah Earnestly

O you who has been overtaken by grief and sorrow!

Contemplate, how many sins have we committed because of which sorrow and grief have been multiplied in our lives?!

Because of one sin – that he ate from the forbidden tree - Aadam عليه السلام was expelled from the Jannah. And yet see how many sins we commit in our daily lives which keep us out of the Jannah of this world?! There is Jannah in this world!

From the Jannah of this world is:

1) when Allaah is pleased with us,

It is an honor from Allaah when He protects His slaves from committing sins

It is an honor from Allaah تعالى when He protects His slaves from falling into sins

If Allaah comes in between you and a sin, then you will overcome that desire to sin – for it is Allaah تعالى who has saved you from falling into it.

By Allaah, the One there is no One worthy of being worshiped except Him! Allaah does not save a person from committing a sin – over which the person has the ability to carry it out – except when that person enjoys a high status with Allaah. It is an honor from Allaah that He تعالى saved him from falling into that sin.

Allaah تعالى said:

{And indeed she did desire him and he would have inclined to her desire, had he not seen the evidence of his Lord.}

📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 24]

Then Allaah تعالى said:

{Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and illegal sexual intercourse.}

📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 24]

The world is not worth to sorrow over it!

O my brothers and sisters!

Allaah has Decreed and Preordained that every individual will face trials:

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ

{And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits…}

The Wisdom of Allaah ﷻ which we always fail to understand

Using examples from three incidents

A Muslim's Faith (Imaan) in Allaah can never be complete till he affirms for Allaah all that which He تعالى has affirmed for Himself in His Book and through His Messenger . We believe in all His Beautiful Names, Lofty Attributes, and Perfect Actions of Allaah…

a) without Takyyeef (without describing the HOW of it),

b) without Tamtheel (without equating them with the creation),

c) without Tashbeeh (without comparing them with the creation),

d) without Ta`teel (without denying or negating them),

e) and without Tahreef (without distorting or changing their meaning).

Actions that are foundations of sins

There are a few actions which are the foundation of one sin or the other:

1️⃣ Kibr (الكبر - pride, conceit, arrogance, narcissism). It was excessive pride that prevented Iblees from obeying the Command of Allaah to prostrate to Aadam.

2️⃣ Hirs (الحرص - wish, crave, desire). It was the desire to live long that made Aadam to disobey Allaah and eat from the tree.

3️⃣ Hasad (الحسد - jealousy, envy, animosity). One son of Aadam (Qaabil) killed the other son (Haabeel) out of jealousy that the sacrifice of the latter was accepted and not of the former.

4️⃣ Ghuloo (الغلو - exaggeration, excessiveness). Shirk first appeared on earth when the people exaggerated in praising the righteous people and took their graves as places of worship, while others made statues of these people and worshiped them.

5️⃣ Hubb al-Dunya (حب الدنيا - love, attachment to this worldly life). The love of the Dunyaa and the amassing of wealth is the head of all the wrongdoings, and it makes the person do all of the above in addition to niggardliness, oppression, malignity, cutting of ties with relatives, lust, etc.

And Allaah knows best.

Religion Misunderstood (Poem)

This is a poem about the mental condition and the understanding of the religion by many who claim to be practicing Islaam. This is based on an Urdu poem by the prose writer, Altaf Hussain Haali. His book, “Mussadas-e-Haali” was the most famous book of the 20th century in Muslims of India during the reign of the British. The book examines the state of social and moral degradation prevalent in the contemporary Muslim society, for it contained the mistakes and the reasons for the downfall of the Muslim empire in India. This book was used for upraising the morale of Muslims. But in our age this is not limited to India alone, this can be widely applied everywhere, throughout the world, wherever the Muslims live. (Disclaimer: This is not an exact translation but I relied on that extensively with a few additions and modifications).

Win the hearts and attack them when they're the least expecting (Part 2/2)

...Either through direct preaching or through entertainment.

Part #2 (Entertainment)

Entertainment in the name of Islaam is another sickness plaguing the Muslim Ummah.

The first Aayah and Command that was revealed was to READ, but many amongst us don't want to read. There are many educated ignorant amongst us; educated in the terms of worldly knowledge, but ignorant when it comes to religious knowledge. As Allaah تعالى says:

Win the hearts and attack them when they're the least expecting (Part 1/2)

...Either through direct preaching or through entertainment.

 Part #1 (Direct preaching)

We have learned from our scholars and the Salaf that if an innovator would come directly with his Bid`ah (religious innovation), people would run away from him. So, they disguise themselves as pious, well-wishers, sincere advisors etc. And the first one to play this role was Iblees himself:

The 5 reasons for the downfall of the Ummah

It was narrated that Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنهما said: The Messenger of Allaah said: When you enter into `Eenah transactions [1], take hold of the tails of cattle [2], and are content with farming [3], and you forsake Jihaad [4], Allaah will cause humiliation to prevail over you [5] and He will not withdraw it until you return to your religion [6].
[Musnad Ahmad (4987) and Sunan Abu Dawood (3462) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (11)]

Notes:
[1] “`Eenah” (العينة): It is an illusionary transaction in which some people engage to conceal the Ribaa (usury/interest) dealings. The contract appears to be a “buying and selling” contract, whereas in reality, it is just Ribaa, and the transaction is just a cover-up.

The opportunities that lie ahead of us

Allaah تعالى said:

{And hasten to the forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous} [Surah aal-`Imraan (3): 133]

And also:

Levels of al-Yaqeen (Certainty)

🚩Al-Yaqeen has three levels:

🌟1. Sure Knowledge (علم اليقين)
{Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge} [Surah al-Takaathur (102): 5]

🌟2. Certainty of Sight (عين اليقين)
{And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!}  [Surah al-Takaathur (102): 7]

🌟3. True (or absolute) Certainty  (حق اليقين)
{Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty.} [Surah al-Waaqi`ah (56): 95]

📑Example:
🔴1. Your knowledge that there is water in the valley.
🔵2. Seeing the water with your own eyes.
🔴3. Drinking from that water.

📑Another example:
🔵1. When someone tells you that he has honey and you have no reason to doubt him, this is Certainty.
🔴2. He shows it to you, and this increases your certainty.
🔵3. He lets you taste it, and this is the highest level of Certainty.

📑One more example:
🔴1. Our firm belief in the existence of al-Jannah (Paradise) and al-Naar (Fire) - this is Sure Knowledge.
🔵2. On the Day of Judgment, when the Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, and the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the wrongdoers - this is certainty of sight.
🔴3. When people of the Paradise enter the Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire - on that Day it would be True Certainty.

Brief description of the events that will take place on the Day of Judgment

Note: Only Allaah knows best the chronological sequence of the events. The numbering is only for punctuation.

1. The Dunya: (الدنيا): The way we live in this world will determine what path we will be following on the Day of Judgment.

2. The Grave: (القبر): The answers to the three questions in the grave will determine if the grave will become for us a garden from the gardens of Paradise or a pit from the pits of Hell.

3. The Blowing of the Trumpet:  (النفخ في الصور): This will be the second blowing. On the first blowing, everything on Earth will die. On the second blowing, everything will rise up from their graves.

Respect Islaam to be respected

Don't expect the Kuffaar to respect Islaam when we, as Muslims...

...do not respect it.

...do not live by its teachings.

...have abandoned the rights of Allaah.

...follow our desires over the Sunnah.

...have distorted the meaning of `Ibaadah (servitude).

...prefer comfort over Inqiyaad (submission).

...ask Allaah for our rights but do not fulfill His rights.

...follow what we like and abandon what we don't like.

...follow what is in our favor and dislike when it goes against us.

...know the true path, yet choose the wrong one.

...know the falsehood but do not abandon it.

...prefer ignorance over guidance.

...have left the religion of the forefathers only to adopt the religion of the personalities.

...have lost the Furqaan (criterion) to judge between the right and the wrong.

...prefer not to distinguish between the right and the wrong.

...prefer not to distinguish between Ahl al-Tawheed (people of Tawheed) and Ahl al-Shirk.

...prefer not to distinguish between Ahl al-Sunnatu wal-Jamaa`ah and Ahl al-Bid`atu wal-Dhalaalatu wal-Furqah (people of innovation, misguidance and division) [Division is caused in the Ummah when people abandon the Sunnah and follow innovations].

...do not enjoin what is good and beneficial.

...do not prohibit what is bad and harmful.

...prefer entertainment and luxuries of life over Allaah's pleasure.

...abandon what is beneficial and opt for what is harmful.

...when we prefer arrogance over humility.

...when we prefer immorality over modesty.

...when we brag about our good deeds and are not ashamed of our sins.

...when we sin openly and cooperate with others in it.

...when we commit more sins than good deeds.

...when we prefer the Dunya over the Aakhirah.

Indeed we are deceiving ourselves and are living in delusion. Remember, Islaam is not in need of us. Rather, we are in need of Islaam. If we ever try to replace Islaam in our lives, instead we will be replaced. As Allaah تعالى said:

❝{And if you turn away (from Islaam and the obedience of Allaah), He will exchange you for some other people, and they will not be your likes.} ❞
[Surah Muhammad (47): 38]

Also:

❝{O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islaam), Allaah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allaah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers.}❞
[Surah al-Maaidah (5): 54]

Between Extremism and Negligence in religion

Imaam al-Awzaa`ee رحمه الله said:

There is no matter which Allaah تعالى has commanded, except that Shaitaan opposes it (and misleads many people towards) two characteristics regarding it - and it doesn't matter to which one of them he leads - either Ghuloo (extremism, exaggeration, excessiveness) or Taqseer (failure to comply, falling short, negligence, abandonment).

Being able to Praise and Thank Allaah تعالى is the ultimate blessing

Thanking Allaah for a blessing that He تعالى has given to us is in itself a blessing that many are deprived of:

﴿وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ﴾

{But (only) few of My slaves are grateful.} [Surah Saba (34): 13]
