Being Truthful in your intentions

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

💠 If you cannot do something good, then at least be truthful with Allaah with your intentions. Every time you leave the house, your concern should only be to seek the pleasure of Allaah alone and nothing else. You should speak the truth even if the people do not like it. Invite the people towards the truth and do not concern yourself with the emotions of the people.

💠 Enter the Masjid with the intention that Allaah تعالى will forgive your sins through your prayers.

💠 Do not visit your parents with the intention that you are fulfilling the burden that has been imposed upon you! Rather, visit them with the intention that you are willingly fulfilling the responsibility, as Allaah تعالى said:

وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

{And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small."} [Surah al-Israa’ (17): 24]

💠 Do not leave your house in the morning with the intention that you are going to harm so-and-so. Perhaps you may die before you could harm him. So, neither were you able to harm him nor were you able to meet Allaah with a good intention.

💠 Whoever truly knows his Lord, in the evening, he should secretly and sincerely pray to his Lord that He تعالى should not let anyone take control of his affairs except Him سبحانه وتعالى.

💠 He should secretly pray to Allaah that He تعالى should not allow his heart to rely on anyone else except Allaah, and he should recall the saying of Allaah عز وجل:

قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّـهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ * لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

{Say (O Muhammad ): "Verily, my Salaah (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allaah, the Lord of the `Aalameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists). He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims."} [Surah al-An`aam (6): 162]

💠 If a person beseeches Allaah to make him sincere in His Deen, and that He protects and keeps him firm upon the truth, and that the people are kept safe from his evil actions and speech, and that Allaah guides him to speak the truth; if a person beseeches Allaah while being true in his intentions, then Allaah, the Most-Generous, will not let his Du`aa, which he made in secret, go in vain.

💠 If a person wakes up while in his heart he has hatred, enmity, jealousy, arrogance, and evil whispers from the Shaytaan against his Muslim brothers, then his whole day will pass away without finding any peace in his heart – and Allaah’s refuge is sought from this.

💠 But whoever Truly knows Allaah, he will willingly surrender himself to Allaah’s Will, and he will find the sweetness of Imaan in his Sujood in his night prayers, and his heart will be filled with tranquility.
