When a person plans to buy a new car, he usually does a survey,
looks at other people’s review, before deciding which car to buy. When he pays
the price, he makes sure that he receives his money’s worth, he won’t settle
for anything less. He wouldn’t accept a new car with scratch marks or some dent
on it, nor would he accept a car with damaged upholstery.
Similarly, one wouldn’t want to pay money to buy rotten groceries
or meat or other stuffs. Rather, one would not even compromise to have a mixed
bag of groceries – the good vegetables mixed with the rotten ones.
This is what Allaah تعالى mentioned in the Qur’aan that one should
not intend to give from the bad/worthless part of his property as charity,
which he himself would not accept if someone else were going to give it to him,
except with some reluctance or he’ll act as if nothing is wrong with it.
{O you who have believed!
Spend [i.e. give charity] from the good things which you have earned and from [the
fruits] that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not intend
[to gather only] the bad of it for your spending – [spending from that] while
you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allaah
is Free of all wants need and Worthy of all Praise.} [Surah
al-Baqarah (2): 267]
If this is in regards to the matters of the Dunya, isn’t
it more important that one takes more precaution and do not mix with the people
of Bid`ah? Specially those “celebrity” speakers who share the same platform and
stage with the Soofees and the Shias; they maintain silence on their
misguidance, neither correcting them nor educating the people and calling them
towards Tawheed and the correct understanding of the Deen. Because of such
behavior, the common people are getting deceived and confused.
Allaah تعالى clearly warned the
people when He تعالى said:
﴿وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ
بِالْبَاطِلِ﴾
{And mix not truth with falsehood} [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 42]
It is the trait of the people of the Book to mix the
truth with falsehood. It is the trait of the hypocrites to mix truth with
falsehood. A true believer always makes his stance clear.
In the matters of the Dunya, people don't want to
compromise, but in the matters of the Deen, some simply don't care
