Importance Of Daily Adhkaar & Supplications

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

In times of turmoil and anxiety, Muslims seek a safe haven and a way out of these difficulties.

{Those who believe and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allaah. Verily, in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest}
📚 [Surah al-Ra`d (13):28]

This divine promise presents us with a valuable treasure: the Du`aa (Supplications) and the Adhkaar (Remembrance of Allaah), which bring tranquility to the heart, illumination to the soul, and protection to the body.

In this comprehensive guide, we will explore the importance of remembrance and supplication in a Muslim's life and provide a practical roadmap for making them a daily habit that will change your life.

First: What is the definition of Du`aa and Dhikr?

Du`aa (Supplication):
It is the servant's request to his Lord for what he needs in this world and the Hereafter, encompassing supplication and hope.

The Prophet
said: Supplication is worship
📚 [Sunan Abu Dawood (1479), Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2969, 3247, 3372), Sunan Ibn Maajah (3828), and graded as “Ṣaḥeeḥ” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

Dhikr (Remembrance Of Allaah):
It is the repetition of words that glorify Allaah, such as Tasbeeḥ (saying: Sub-ḥaan Allaah), Tahleel (Laa ilaaha illal-laah), and Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar). This practice is essential for purifying the heart and strengthening the spirit.

Allaah
تعالى said:

فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ

{So remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me (for My countless Favors on you) and do not be ungrateful}
📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 152]

Second: The importance of Supplications and Remembrances (6 great benefits)
