Umm `Alqamah narrated that when the nieces of `Aaishah رضي الله عنها were
circumcised, `Aaishah was asked: “Shall we call someone to amuse them?” “Yes,”
she replied. A person by the name `Adi was sent for and he came to them. `Aaishah
passed by the room and saw him singing and shaking his head in rapture - and he
had a large head of hair. She exclaimed: “Uff! A
Shaytaan! Get him out! Get him out!”
[Adab al-Mufrad of Imaam al-Bukhaaree (1247) and graded as “Hasan”
by Shaikh al-Albaanee and in the narration of al-Baihaqee it is also mentioned:
“So he was taken out”]

What have the Sufees got to say about this?! Those who let
the Shayaateen to play, dance, hop, climb poles or cling on to the ceiling fans
etc. - while they claim to be in trance - inside or outside the Masaajid with
blasting music.
Even for entertainment music is not allowed; then how far
away are those who use music as a mode of worship? Deaf, dumb and blind! They
will not understand.
