Demolition of the Ka`bah: From the Portents of the Last Hour

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

❝Dhu as-Suwaiqa-tain* from Ethiopia (Habashah) will demolish the Ka`bah.❞

*Meaning: One with two lean legs

Ibn `Abbaas رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

❝It is as if I were looking at him, a black person with thin legs tearing it (the Ka`bah), stone by stone.❞

`Abdullaah Ibn `Amr رضي الله عنهما narrated that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:

❝Dhu as-Suwaiqa-tain, who is from Habashah (Ethiopia), will destroy the Ka`bah, steal its treasures, and remove its Kiswah (covering). It is as if I am looking at him – he is a bald-headed, thin-legged man who will strike the Ka`bah with his spade and pick-axe.❞

`Abdullaah Ibn `Amr رضي الله عنهما narrated that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:

❝Leave the Abyssinians (Habashah) alone as long as they leave you alone, for it is only the Abyssinian with thin legs who will seek to take out the treasure of the Ka`bah.❞

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

❝A man will be given the pledge of allegiance between the Corner (the Black Stone) and al-Maqaam (Station of Ibraaheem), and no one will permit (bloodshed) in the House (of Allaah) except its people (the Muslims). And once they make it permissible (to spill the blood in the Sanctuary), then do not ask about the destruction of the `Arabs!* Then the Abyssinians will come and destroy the Ka`bah, such that after this destruction it will never be rebuilt. They will be the ones who will plunder the treasure of the Ka`bah.❞
