Shaikh al-`Uthaymeen رحمه
الله said:
“It is necessary for the teachers
not to quote numerous issues one after the other to the students, because this
way they will forget. But what they should do is, teach them the principles and
the rules and their limitations (and conditions) because that is the closest way
of retaining the knowledge in the heart. But if one just lists the many different issues
(one after the other), the students will forget them quickly.”
