بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد
Based on the work of the noble Shaikh al-Albaanee رحمه الله: “Silsilatu al-Ahaadeeth al-Saheehah”
53) Ibn `Umar رضي الله
عنهما said: There was a time
when no one was more entitled to a person’s money than his Muslim brother. Now
people love their dirham and dinar more than their Muslim brother. I heard the
Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم
say: “How many a neighbor will be brought together
with his neighbor on the Day of Rising! He will say: “Lord, this man closed his
door to me and refused to show me common kindness!””
[al-Adab
al-Mufrad (111), Ibn Abee al-Dunyaa (345) and graded as “Hasan li ghairihee”
by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (2646)]
54) From Anas bin Maalik رضي الله
عنه in marfoo` form: “The one whose neighbor is not safe from his danger is
not a believer.”
[al-Haakim
(4/165) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (2181)]
55) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله
عنه said: The Messenger of
Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “He will not enter
Paradise whose neighbor is not secure from his wrongful conduct.”
[Saheeh
Muslim (69)]
56) Narrated Abu Shuraih رضي الله
عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “By Allaah, he does
not believe! By Allaah, he does not believe! By Allaah, he does not believe!”
It was said: “Who is that, O Allaah’s Apostle?” He صلى الله
عليه وسلم said:
“That person whose neighbor does not feel safe
from his evil.”
[Saheeh
al-Bukhaaree (6016)]
57) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله
عنه: Allaah’s Apostle صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Anybody who
believes in Allaah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody
who believes in Allaah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously
and anybody who believes in Allaah and the Last Day should talk what is good or
keep quiet (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk).”
[Saheeh
al-Bukhaaree (5186, 6018, 6135, 6136) and Saheeh Muslim (70, 71, 72)]
58) From Anas bin Maalik رضي الله
عنه who said that the
Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم
said: “A slave’s Imaan will not be upright until
his heart is upright, and his heart will not be upright until his tongue is
upright, and a man whose neighbor is not safe from his harm will not enter
Paradise.”
[Musnad
of Imaam Ahmad (3/198) and Shaikh al-Albaanee said in al-Saheehah (2841):
“the narrators are trustworthy; they are the narrators of (Imaam) Muslim,
except for `Alee bin Mas`adah al-Bahilee”. And he graded it as “Hasan”
in Saheeh al-Targheeb (2554, 2865)]
59) Narrated An Nu`maan bin Bashir رضي الله
عنه: I heard Allaah’s Apostle صلى الله عليه وسلم saying: “Both legal and
illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious)
things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves
himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And
whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his
animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else, and at any
moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima
and the Hima of Allaah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things.
Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the
whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and
that is the heart.”
[Saheeh
al-Bukhaaree (52, 2051) and Saheeh Muslim (3004)]
60) From Abu Umaamah bin Tha’labah رضي الله
عنه who said: I heard the
Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم
say: “Whoever seizes the wealth of Muslim man
with a false oath, then a black spot is placed in his heart, nothing will
change it until the Day of Judgment.”
[al-Haakim
(4/294) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (3364)]
61) `Abdullaah
ibn Unays al-Juhanee رضي الله عنه reported that Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “From
the gravest of the major sins are to ascribe partner to Allaah; to displease
parents; and take a false oath; and, if anyone swears an oath on Allaah, a firm
oath introducing therein so much lie as a gnat’s wing then a spot is put in his
heart till the Day of Resurrection.”
[Tirmidhee
(3020) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
62) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله
عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Verily, when the servant commits
a sin, a black spot appears in his heart. If he repents from it, his heart is
polished clean. However, if he increases (in the sin), the spot will continue
to increase. That is the statement of Allaah: {Nay! But on their hearts is the
Ran (covering) which they used to earn}”
[Surah al-Mutaffifeen (83): 14]
[Tirmidhee
(3334), Ibn Maajah (3441) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee.
Also graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh Muqbil in Saheeh al-Musnad
(1355, 1449)]
63) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله
عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whenever the servant commits a
wrong, a black spot is put in his heart. So, if he refrains from it, seeks
forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns to the
sin, the spot will increase until it overcomes his (entire) heart, and this is
the Ran that Allaah mentions when He says: {Nay, but on their hearts is the
Ran (covering) which they used to earn}.” [Surah
al-Mutaffifeen (83): 14]
[al-Nasa’ee in al-Kubraa (10179, 11594) and graded
as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in Saheeh al-Mawaarid (1483,
2075)]
