بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد
It is imperative that a person realizes that Tawakkul does
not mean leaving the actions that are necessary to achieve one’s goal. On the
contrary, Tawakkul necessitates that a person strives with all efforts & in
all permissible ways to achieve what is desired, all the while realizing that
such efforts will not produce the desired results unless Allaah has already
Willed it.
Anas bin Maalik said رضي الله عنه: “A
man said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, should I tie it (the camel) and make tawakkul,
or let it go free and make tawakkul?' He صلى الله عليه وسلم
said: “Tie it and make tawakkul.”
